I offer structured QCE tuition in English, Maths, Chemistry and Physics. My Applied Mathematics degree from the University of Queensland and QCT registration support a style built around clear reasoning and careful use of evidence. I am a good fit for students who want a plan for their learning and are willing to practise between sessions. Online lessons follow the topics and assessment expectations of the student's school. Students are encouraged to question a method and explain their choices, so the structure of a lesson supports increasingly independent work.

My work has included explaining difficult concepts, reviewing practice responses and helping students manage several subjects during busy assessment periods. I have supported learners who lose marks through incomplete working as well as those who need a stronger understanding of the content itself. In English, I help students develop and support an interpretation; in the sciences, we focus on making the reasoning visible. I also have experience helping students prepare for unfamiliar questions. We compare examples with different wording or contexts so that they can recognise the underlying principle without relying on a memorised solution.

I ask for the topic and any relevant class material before we meet. Each session includes an independent attempt, discussion of the reasoning and a new task to check transfer. I keep a brief record of recurring difficulties and use it to choose later revision.
